We gathered today as a community of faith to celebrate this Mass of Thanksgiving for Dianne Jones and Janet Powell as they conclude their time as Local Academy Governors for Our Lady and Saint Benedict Catholic Academy. With grateful hearts, we acknowledge the 24 years of service, the outstanding contribution they have made and the leadership offered for the good of the people. 

In this sacred moment, we paused to remember accomplishments, but also to recognise the grace that has sustained them through challenges, decisions, and responsibilities entrusted to them. Their dedication, insight, and support has helped shape the academy into the thriving, Outstanding environment it is today. We are deeply thankful for the time and effort they have generously given to this role.  

We come before God to offer our prayers of gratitude for the journey completed, and to ask for continued guidance, strength, and blessing as they enter a new chapter of life and service. 

In this celebration we remembered that all leadership is a calling, and that every season of service.
