Pebble Painting!
Dear Pupils / Parents,
During the lockdown we have been supporting the NHS and Key Workers by clapping every Thursday evening as well as raising money. So at OLSB we have decided to show our appreciation for the NHS / Key Workers and anything else that we have been grateful for during this difficult time.
The Corona Cobra is a snake made out of the pebbles that we have found on our walks or in our garden. We would like you to paint or draw a picture to show our care for the NHS/Key Workers/ or someone who has helped you during this tricky time, you can add a message to the back of the pebble if you like. We will create a long snake of all of our messages and pictures. Please drop the pebble to your class reading box on one of the up and coming Mondays during the book swap.
Many Thanks
Year 6
Dear parents/carers,
Thank you for another great week of home learning. I have been really encouraged by the quality of work that Year 4 are doing!
I have had some questions about emailing myself and Mrs Malik work. You do not need to email each piece of written work. However, the longer activities (Science, Art, RE, History and Extended Writing) can be emailed over. Or anything that you or your child is particularly proud of!
Thank you again for a great week, you are really making sure the children get the most out of this difficult time!

Dear parents/carers,
I hope you are all well and had a relaxing Easter break. Thank you for another great week of home learning. I have been encouraged to see so many of the children engaging with the work that has been set. We are also leading in the TT Rockstars competition with Year 3! So keep it up Year 4 it's not over yet!
As I've mentioned before, any questions please feel free to email myself at year4teacher@olsbprimary.org.uk
Thank you for all your hard work with making sure your children are keeping up with their learning.

Important Information
Over the course of the Easter break there will be a few fun activities for the children to complete. Year 4 and Year 3 will be having a TT Rockstars battle after the Easter holidays. Let's get practicing Year 4!
There will also be some Purple Mash activities along with some other fun projects. Mrs Malik will be checking to see your fantastic Art skills!
Have a great holiday and stay safe,
Mr. Brown and Mrs. Malik
Try to complete a "PE with Joe" workout every morning at 9am! If you have already completed some keep it up!
Remember physical exercise can help to keep us happy.
Decorate an Easter Egg
We would usually be decorating our eggs at this time of the year. Let's see your best decorated Easter eggs. Myself and Mrs Malik will even have a go!
Create and Decorate a Cross
With the resources you have in your house lets see if you can create and decorate a cross. Using lolly pop sticks can be a useful resource. Again, myself and Mrs Malik will have a go!
Harry Potter's audio books are now free up to 30 days. That will be plenty of time to listen to the first Harry Potter book "The Philosophers Stone".
Google "Audible Harry Potter" and you will see this website.
Dear Y4 parents/carers,
Thank you again for another great week of home learning. I have had some fantastic rainbows and playlists.
There has been some difficulties with saving work on Purple Mash. They have written:
"Purple Mash has a variety of 2Do's on Purple Mash which do not require saving or handing in. However, a score will automatically be saved for the pupil once the 2Do is completed and this score will be available to the teacher. These 2Do's allow multiple attempts and so the "Start" button will appear even after a pupil has completed it. This is so a pupil can attempt the 2Do more than once to improve their score for the homework."
I hope this answers some questions!
If you have any questions/concerns please email year4teacher@olsbprimary.org.uk
